Ace and Kyle were walking around the Action Field when Ace felt a jolt of pain through his chest. He dropped to his knees and Kyle placed a hand on his back.
“What’s wrong Ace?”
Ace slowly rose. His eyes were shining his ancestral blue. “I need to go home, now.” He summoned the Gem Ride and tore off.
“Hey! Wait up!” Kyle was about to start running, but something caught his eye. Ace had dropped his Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus. Kyle placed it on his Duel Disk and flew off on it’s back. When he finally found Ace, he commanded Sapphire Pegasus to land. It did as it was told. Kyle ran over to Ace, Sapphire Pegasus in hand.
“What was that about man?” Kyle asked.
“That.” Ace continued staring in the same direction. Kyle turned to look at the colossal tower that loomed over them. It had a Crystal Emblem, similar to Ace’s sign above the door.
“What’s this?” Kyle asked.
“Mine.” Ace raised his right hand as his emblem started to shine. At that signal, a draw bridge swung down. The Warlord walked into his hime, with his Guardian beside him. They climbed the seemingly endless stairs until they got to the top of the tower. There were several ramparts that had gems on them. There was one single chair, a throne rather.
“Thats mine too.” He started to walk towards it. Before he even got half way there, a wall of fire was set. Ace stumbled backwards and looked up to see what made the fire. A monster. Sacred Phoenix of Nepthys. Ace had a look of utter horror carved into his eyes.
“BURN! ALL OF YOU! MWAHAHAHAHA!” The Sanctuary was set a blaze! Fire! Fire everywhere! The words rang into his ears at the sight of his harbinger of pain. Ace knew that his opponent was waiting for him here.
“What a pleasure to see you two again! HAHAHAHAHA!” A boy with spiky red hair walked through the flames. He had the smirk of the devil himself, with piercing red eyes to match. “Isn’t it wonderful to see me again? I remember when you saw me last,” he chuckled then exploded into laughter, “I burned down your precious Sanctuary! To be more specific, he did it.” He pointed upward to his Phoenix.
Ace was sitting on the ground with Kyle several feet behind him. Ace had tears running down his face, remembering the pain and suffering this individual did to him. He started to back away. Sacred Phoenix launched a flame that made a ring around Ace and the Rebel. “Blaize! Please, leave me alone!” He was bawling now.
“Only if you win! And it’ll be just you, not him.” Blaize was glaring at Kyle. Blaize snapped his fingers and the fire was gone. He pulled his card off his Duel Disk and prepared. Ace stood up and prepared his Duel Disk.
“Duel!” They shouted.
“I draw!” Said Blaize. “I Summon Flamvell Dragnov (1100 ATK) and place a card facedown. Go ahead. If you dare!”
Ace feebly drew a card. “I Summon Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus (1200 DEF).”
“In defense!? Come on! Show me a challenge Warlord!” Blaize taunted.
Ace drew back a step. “I use his effect to place a Crystal Beast from my deck to my spell and trap zone. Like Topaz Tiger.” A yellow crystal took shape in his spell and trap zone. “I place a card facedown and end my turn.”
“You’re so scared you’re boring! I’ll get this match heated!” He drew with a trail of fire following his hand. “I Summon the level 3 Tuner monster Flare Resonator! I tune it to my Dragnov!”
(Flare Resonator level 3+Flamvell Dragnov level 2)
“Synchro Summon! Bring forth an eternal blazing sword that melts through the toughest of substances. Come forth, level 5, Laval Duel Slasher!” A flame started to kindle. It rose until it was as tall as a story, and then it dissipated. But it didn’t leave ash behind. Standing there was a man of magma rocks and blades on his arms that could cut through steel beams. It had 2400 ATK.
It loomed over Ace and Kyle. Ace was ready to cry again. Kyle never felt so terrified. He backed away slowly, until he was pressed up against one of the ramparts. When he placed his hand on it, he felt a thin rectangle. It was an Action Card! He grabbed it and ran over to Ace.
“Ace! You can win! Take this.” Kyle handed Ace the Action Card. Ace started to read the card, then smiled.
“Alright, bring it on Blaize!” Ace welcomed the danger now.
Blaize clenched his jaw. “If you insist! Attack his monster Dual Slasher!” Pegasus was destroyed and sent to the spell and trap card zone.
“My turn, I draw and activate Pot of Greed, so I can draw two more cards!” He smiled even wider. “I activate two Crystal Beacons, which let me summon a total of two Crystal Beasts from my deck! Come on out “Amber Mammoth (1700 ATK) and Emerald Tortoise (2000 DEF)!
“Now, I activate the Action Spell, Crystal Ultima! This lets me destroy the facedown I have and replace it with a Crystal Beast in my hand, like Ruby Carbuncle! Next, I place Mammoth and Tortoise in my spell and trap zone too. Now, I can summon a Crystal Beast from my hand for every one thats in my spell and trap zone! Come out, Amethyst Cat (1200 ATK) and Cobalt Eagle (1400 ATK)!
“Now it gets better. If I have 5 cards in my spell and trap zone, I can add 1 level 10 Dragon type monster from my deck to my hand, like Rainbow Dragon!”
“Oh no.” Blaize said as he realized Ace had his ultimate card in his hand.
“That’s right, say hey to Rainbow Dragon!” The dragon of a million colors flew from the sky. It’s body igniting the whole field into exuberance. It had 4000 ATK. Ace ran to another rampart and grabbed an Action Card. “I activate Reflection Flip! When there’s a Level 10 Dragon on my field, I can destroy one face down card, like your facedown trap!” It exploded to the command.
“Now for Rainbow Dragon’s effect! I send the 7 Crystal Beasts to the graveyard, and Rainbow Dragon gets 1000 ATK for each one! So he has 11000 ATK to blast Laval Dual Slasher with! Go! Refraction Beam!”
With a snap of the neck, Rainbow Dragon launched a rainbow colored beam out of it’s mouth at Laval Dual Slasher, bringing Blaize down to 0 LP.
“Alright! I took down a Rebel!” Ace was yelling. Soon after, Blaize was starting to stand up.
“You better not think this is the last you’ll see of me! I’ll be back to destroy you and the other Warlords!” Above his head, a black portal opened up. Ace and Kyle took cover near the staircase. Blaize flailed around. He was being lifted by the pull of the vortex. “No! Please, give me another chance! I can win! Please don’t send me to the Nightmare Passage!” These were his last words before getting sucked away by the vortex.
Ace and Kyle started to walk back up. “Did he say the Nightmare Passage!?” Ace asked.
“I think so, so what?”
“They sent Mac there once. Mac sent Shade there, but as we saw, they both have escaped. But they were both sent there by a card, how did I just send Blaize there without it?”
“It beats me man, but lets keep going. Tour knowledge, aside from the Warlords and Guardians, there are still 19 other competitors to knock out, 5 of which are Rebels. So lets go knock some skulls around.”
Ace smiled. “Now you’re speaking my language.”
tkbeatsdr asked: Well can't wait to see them then, is the form tagged under anything specific and I'll see what I can do
Excellent, thanks again
tkbeatsdr asked: I also can't wait to see yours, haven't seen pendulums in a hero build before, also haven't seen evil heroes yet
Also the Pendulum works really well since all the Hero cards since none of the main deck Heroes are level 1 or higher than 7 and the Evil Heroes add a flavor that I enjoy. I don’t play them often, but when I do they reek havoc on the field
tkbeatsdr asked: Hey is the Skype duel thing still going to go ahead?
Yes, the only issue is I have only about 6 sure competitors. I want maybe 16 at least, if you can get even two more for eight than that’ll be golden
